                 Betapa indah gemilang Kota Malang, kota di datar tinggi sejuk menarik hati...

  

Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Kota yang indah, sejuk, banyak pepohonan. Kota dataran tinggi ini banyak dikunjungi oleh wisatawan mancanegara maupun domestik. Malang, kota yang saaangaat memukau, tata kotanya, warganya pun juga ramah. Julukan buat Kota Malang ini banyak sekali mulai dari Malang Kota Pendidikan, Malang Kota Bunga, Malang Kota Pariwisata. Bahkan sampai ada julukan 'Malang Ijo Royo-royo' karena di sepanjang jalan Kota Malang banyak ditumbuhi pepohonan.

Betapa bangganya aku menjadi salah satu warga Kota Malang yang amat istimewa ini. Sewaktu aku kecil setiap hari Minggu, orang tuaku sering mengajakku jalan-jalan di daerah Ijen, TMP, dan Betek. Udara sejuk menyambut rongga hidung kecilku. Indahnya Malangku.

Sekarang aku hanya bisa merasakan sedikit kesejukan Malang yang masih tersisa. 

Malangku tak lagi sama seperti dulu. Malang semakin panas, Malang semakin malang. Banyak pembangunan di sana-sini. Perumahan, ruko, apartemen, sampai mall.

Kepadamu, aku menyimpan cemburu dalam harapan yang tertumpuk oleh sesak dipenuhi ragu..
Terlalu banyak ruang yang tak bisa aku buka, dan kebersamaan cuma memperbanyak ruang tertutup..
Mungkin, jalan kita tidak bersimpangan. Ya, jalanmu dan jalanku.


Meski diam-diam, aku masih saja menatapmu dengan cinta yang malu-malu..

Hujan dan teduh ditakdirkan bertemu, tetapi mereka tidak bersama dalam perjalanan..
