Paramore's Hayley Williams gives us a bit of Bad Romance

I love this cool cover!

Paramore singer Hayley Williams is so cool. Not only does she front a totally amazing band, proving that girls do in fact ROCK, she has now taken her levels of cool to Ga-gantic proportions (you’ll see what I did there in just a sec).

I have found this video of Hayley sitting down at her piano and giving the ol’ ivories a tinkle to Bad Romance – see Ga-gantic – Gaga, someone please laugh… --a
Check it out!

How cool was that? But is that a wheelie bin in the background, I can’t quite tell?

Do you love Hayley Williams and Paramore, what else would you like to see her cover? Comments here please!

Hayley Williams "Majority Brand New Eyes About Josh Farro"

Talk about a messy break up eh?

As the ruckus continues between Paramore's Hayley Williams and Josh Farro, the fiery red head has revealed in an interview with MTV, that most of the songs on the band's Brand New Eyes album, are actually about her own relationship with Josh!
The MTV.com interview 'Paramore: The Last Word' is due to be streamed online today at 4pm (USA time!), but to get us all hooked a clip has been released of Hayley saying that most of the lyrics on the 2009 album - however unintentionally - focused on her own difficult relationship with ex-boyf and band guitarist Josh.
"It was really hard, because we were all friends, and then going through a break-up and going through any kind of tension as a band really affected all the lyrics," says Hayley. "There are a lot of specifics that I pulled from my experience with just feeling like my face was underneath a boot all the time."

What do you think of Hayley's comments? Do you think she's right to hit back at Josh Farro's angry claims?
Or should Paramore just leave it there? Comments please!

Josh Farro Enjoys Life After Paramore

Josh Farro Enjoys Life After Paramore Picture
Josh Farro and Brother Zac are Happy with Their Lives After Paramore; Now with Novel American

Former lead guitarist of Paramore, Josh Farro, says he is happy now that he has left the group. He and his brother, Zac, announced their departure last December because of disagreements. In an interview with MTV, he said, he simply disagreed with the band on a lot of things but wishes them the best for the future and only wants to move on for the sake of their fans.
He also now admits that in 2007 when he stopped dating band front-woman, Hayley Williams, things started to go downhill. Josh and his brother saw that their future with Paramore was coming to an end. Since leaving the alternative rock band, he has not spoken to Williams, guitarist Taylor York, or bassist Jeremy Davis.
Talking to Kerrang! Magazine, he said, "I don't think that'll (speaking to his former bandmates) happen for a while. I hope that one day we can reconcile, but I really don't care to be in some war with them. Whatever."
Continuing on, he stated, "It's still fresh (but) I don't think I miss it at all. I don't miss it one bit. That's just being completely honest. It's been nice to unwind! (There's been) drama, but some of that's inevitable. But other than that, it's been great."
When further asked what life with Paramore was like after he and Williams stopped dating, he said, "For a while. It was weird more than anything. We were good friends before that and people change. We were becoming more and more distant."
Now that he has moved on, Josh says that he is really pleased that he left Paramore, and that his life beyond the band is "great".
Josh now is in a new band named Novel American, where he plays guitar. Talking to MTV about his new project, he said, "I met these guys in high school. We got together, we wrote and we jammed, and it was great, so we decided, 'Let's do another band.' And, honestly, I had some ideas that just didn't fit with Paramore, and I said, 'Guys, we can try these,' and they just loved them, and so that's really how it all started." Plans are in place for Novel American to record an EP in the near future.
The Paramore song 'Decode' was the lead single for the "Twilight" film.

Widespread tsunami warning after Japan quake (PRAY FOR JAPAN, ASIA and for this world -,-)

A tsunami carries buildings across water in Sendai.

Singapore - A tsunami warning has been issued for the entire Pacific basin except the mainland United States and Canada following a huge earthquake that hit Japan on Friday, the US Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.

The warning includes Hawaii and extends from Mexico down to South American countries on the Pacific, the center said.
Among the countries for which a tsunami warning is in effect are: Russia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru. Taiwan's coast guard has begun evacuating its east coast, which is not heavily populated. Waves about 50cm high are expected to reach the island's north and east coasts later on Friday, its central weather bureau said.

Hawaii's civil defense agency ordered all coastal areas, including the main tourist hub Honolulu, evacuated by 2am local time (1200 GMT). The first tsunami wave was expected to reach Hawaii at 3am local time. Waves were expected to hit Pacific island Guam, 2,400km south of Japan, at 7pm local time (1100 GMT).

Beaches had been cleared there, and hotels were moving guests to rooms on higher floors, while in the nearby Northern Mariana Islands, all residents were ordered to evacuate to higher grounds.

The tsunami is higher than some of the Pacific islands it could wash over, the Red Cross in Geneva said, warning that developing countries in the Asia Pacific region were particularly vulnerable to tsunami damage.

The biggest earthquake to hit Japan in 140 years struck the northeast coast on Friday, triggering a 10-metre tsunami that swept away everything in its path, including houses and cars.

By 0800 GMT there had been no reports of a serious tsunami hitting anywhere beyond Japan.
“A tsunami is a series of waves and the first wave may not be the largest,” the centre said. “The threat can continue for many hours as multiple waves arrive.” - Reuters
